HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading national commercial law firm to recruit a Disputes & Insolvency Associate / Senior Associate for their Brisbane office.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing disputes team within a well-established national firm, working closely with experienced Partners on complex litigation and insolvency matters across a strong institutional and corporate client base.
The Role:
As a Disputes & Insolvency Associate / Senior Associate in this team, you will:
- Work across a broad range of complex dispute resolution matters, with a focus on corporations law disputes, insolvency and banking & finance litigation
- Attend court appearances and assist with enforcement actions
- Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes
- Advise institutional and corporate clients on complex litigation matters
- Work closely with experienced Partners, gaining hands-on exposure to high-value matters

About You:
- Qualified Lawyer admitted in Queensland with approximately 3+ years PAE in litigation or dispute resolution
- Strong experience in commercial litigation, ideally gained within a reputable private practice environment
- Solid drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage matters with a degree of autonomy while working collaboratively within a team
- Confident communicator with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to legal advice
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
